WebThis is the story of Huntington Beach surfing legend, Chuck Linnen. Chuck "Surf King" Linnen was born in Long Beach in 1936 and began surfing in the 1950's. He was a finalist at the Oceanside Invitational and the first US Open contest held in Huntington Beach. He became a World Champion finalist at Makaha in 1961 and WebSion Milosky was a talented goofy-footer Kalaheo, Kauai. He built a career as a longboarder, but his name is better known for his skills in the big wave surfing scene. Milosky was a good-spirited sportsman, a loving husband, and a father of two young girls. On March 16, 2011, Sion Milosky drowned at Mavericks.
