I know this is a diff vehicle but thats a LOT of weight to pull with a wrx. what year WRX i can look up the accessory catalog and fine the hitch and see what the weight is recommended ... However, tow companies arent dumb and are usually NEVER responsible for the car during or after the tow. Your car is eff'd, but maybe you can just get it fixed as a part of the "accident."
