WebHeld annually in Waipu’s Celtic Barn, this extravaganza of light and sound shows off some fantastic entries of wearable art from far and wide and show cases the concept of how much tartan can be seen to symbolise not just the idea of Scottishness but so much more. WebART&TARTAN is back for 2024! Waipu's Wonderful Wearable Arts Competition is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with three shows on 14 & 15 October in the Celtic Barn, Waipu. Friday 14th October at 7.30pm, Saturday 15th October at 2pm, and the Gala Awards night on Saturday 15th October at 7.30pm.

It was first conceived as the finale to Tartan Week, Waipu’s celebration of all things Scottish. The first show was held in 2010 to great acclaim and has gone from strength to strength.
